Karachi: Investigation report regarding the Havelian plane crash has been released after four years of the incident.

The Havelian plane crash happened four years ago in December 2016 in which 47 people, including Junaid Jamshed, were killed. The report has held PIA engineers responsible for the horrific plane crash incident.

One of the engines of the plane was stopped and the blade of the other was broken. The blade of the plane’s engine was broken on its way from Peshawar to Chitral.

According to the investigation report, the speed of the ATR plane slowed down due to engine malfunction during the flight, while the pilot did not indicate any malfunction in the engine before the flight.

Earlier, a preliminary report on the Havelian accident was released in January 2019, which identified technical glitches. It should be noted that the national airline plane PK661 flew from Chitral to Islamabad on December 7, 2016.

The passengers were accompanied by renowned Naat reciter and preacher Junaid Jamshed and his wife. The plane crashed at Havelian near Abbottabad before reaching its destination, killing 47 passengers.
