Hamid Mir faces backlash as people label him ‘hypocrite’ on twitter
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

People have taken the matter of attack on Geo/Jang central office and started calling veteran journalist and anchor Hamid Mir ‘hypocrite’.

Numerous of tweets state that Geo and its employees haven’t initiated any step against the attack instead remained silent over the matter.

According to some twitter users, when Hamid Mir was attacked, Geo & Jang group ran two days of non-stop campaign in which security agencies were blamed.

According to some social media observers, now when some nationalists (backed by Pakistan People Party) attacked the Geo/Jung’s office in Karachi, the journalist and the media group are not blaming PPP & Sindh Government.

However, Hamid Mir has already condemned the incident about which people believe he didn’t single out anyone like he used to do every time.

Strongly condemn attack on the offices of ⁦@jang_akhbar⁩ and ⁦@geonews_urdu⁩ in Karachi the man with black glasses and a mike in his hand is responsible for this attack he have the right to protest against anyone but he don’t have right of violence ⁦@RSF_inter⁩ pic.twitter.com/efeMSWK1jX
