Hamas chief thanks Pakistanis over their support for Palestinian cause
Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh has thanked the people of Pakistan over their support for the Palestinian cause.
“I salute you from the auspicious land of Palestine and its courageous youth, whose frontliners have been Shaheed Izzuddin Qassam and other such brave people,” Ismail Haniyeh said while virtually addressing the rally organized by Jamaat e Islami in Karachi from Palestine.
He thanked all the citizens of Pakistan who rose voice with power for liberation and nusrat of Palestine and Bait ul Maqdas and the ongoing Jihad at Masjid ul Aqsa and in Gaza.
Talking about the recent conflict, the Hamas chief said, “I share the victory with you and whatever big changes took place in the battle field and inside Palestine and its outside. You stood shoulder to shoulder with us.”
The recent battle of Saif ul Quds has been named by Qassam and his friends who fought along with him.
He said that Israel was hit so hard from Gaza that it shook its very foundations and removed its fear from people’s heart.
“Now the sword of Quds cannot return in its sheath before liberation of al-Quds, in a the similar manner as Salahuddin Ayyubi’s armies had freed Masjid e Aqsa,” he said.
Sharing the three results of the battle of Saif ul Quds, Ismail Haniyeh said the Zionist thoughts were not the same anymore as they had before this fight as the battle had shattered the zionists’ ideology of peace.
“Second, the issue of Palestine had been restricted to regional and national meetings after getting out of international priorities. The foreign powers have this responsibility to block this change
“Third, the Ummat e Muslimah is again turning towards support of their Palestinian brothers,” he added.
He said it was the same support which had been expressed by the residents of Karachi in the form of a gigantic Palestinian march.
“We hope that Pakistan would continue to push the issue of Palestine at international level,” he said.
