Half of staffers of offices should work from home: NCOC

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has issued standard operating procedures (SoPs) for major cities with high positivity and higher disease potential to check spread of COVID-19.

These SoPs will be implemented from Nov 7.

According to a notification, public and private offices have been asked to ensure that fifty percent of their staff members work from home.

Indoor wedding ceremonies will not be allowed from Nov 20, however outdoor wedding parties will be allowed.

On the other hand, Commissioner Karachi and Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Iftikhar Shillwani has imposed fine up to Rs500 for not wearing facemask.

Earlier, the NCOC had also directed that wearing facemask out of one’s home was mandatory.
