Hafeez, who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) during phase one of the medical tests conducted for the tour of England, had tested negative after opting for a second opinion, privately.

The star all-rounder had on Jun 24 tested negative for coronavirus when he got himself checked from a private lab, one day after being tested COVID-19 positive according to the report of the test conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

“After I was tested positive for COVID-19 according to the PCB testing report, as a second opinion and for personal satisfaction I went to test it again along with my family and I along with my all family members have been tested negative Alhamdulillah. May Allah keep us all safe,” he had written in a tweet.
