Hadiqa Kiani’s mother passes away

Hadiqa Kiani’s mother Khawar Kiani passed away on Friday.
Khawar Kiani, the mother of the philanthropy queen of the Pakistani showbiz industry Hadiqa Kiani, has died.
In a heartfelt note shared on Instagram, Hadiqa wrote, “mother, grandmother and poetess Khawar Kiani passed away peacefully at her home today, surrounded by her family and friends”.
She also shared her mother’s achievements as a mother, poetess and teacher. The singer wrote, “those who knew Khawar knew her grace, dignity and strength. Along with being a strong and independent working mother who always put her children first, Khawar was a principal at a government school for girls and a master poetess. She wrote a series of critically acclaimed books and some of the biggest songs in Pakistan’s music history such as “Boohey Barian”, the Cricket World Cup 1999 anthem “Intehai Shauq” and “Aas Pass”.
“Khawar will be deeply missed but we ask you to send prayers at this time of need”, Hadiqa concluded.
