ISLAMABAD: Former Afghan Prime Minister and leader of Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin Hekmatyar on Thursday condemned the atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

Speaking at the Institute of Policy Studies, Islamabad, he urged New Delhi to learn a lesson from the defeat of Soviet Union and NATO in Afghanistan.

He said that Kashmir issue cannot be resolved by force. India should resolve it as per the will of Kashmiri people, he added.

On Oct 21, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred four more youth in Shopian and Pulwama districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Two youth were killed during cordon and search operations in Melhora area of Shopian while another two were killed in Kakripora area of Pulwama district.

Meanwhile, despite COVID-19, Indian troops continued violent cordon and search operations in different town and districts.
