GUJRANWALA : The Gujranwala man who killed his 6-month-old baby has confessed to his crime, revealed Gujranwala police on Wednesday (today).
According to the police, the arrested accused Akaash is addicted to drugs and he had thrown his son in a canal near Kangniwala.
Police has stated that the accused in his confessional statement said, he took the child out of the house, he got angry as the his son was crying and threw the child in the canal.
According to police, the incident took place in Kot Ishaq area of Arup police station yesterday where the accused’s wife had accused her husband of selling her son while the child’s body was found in a canal.

Earlier in March, a man killed his son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren in Kotli Araian Kalan an area of Sialkot.
The victims were identified as Adnan, his pregnant wife Mishal, and their two children, Abdul Hadi and Hania.
According to the sources, the man, Basharat, allegedly killed them over a property dispute.
Moreover, an eye witness narrated the story that Basharat entered his son’s house and gunned him down which led Mishal to rush towards rescuing her two children, who were playing in the same room. Basharat stepped forward and attacked her with a rod from behind after which she got injuries on her head.
Mashal’s mother stated that her daughter and son in law wanted to construct a room and Basharat was against this idea.
After the incident, Basharat fled away from the crime scene but later, the police successfully arrested him.
