ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz on Wednesday said that the government will utilize all legal ways and channels to bring convicted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif back to the country.

“The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) came in to power with the slogan of change in the system, accountability of the corrupt and it will not make any compromise in this connection,” he said talking to a local news channel.

The minister said the law was equal for all the citizens, and the government would uphold the supremacy of the law by bringing Nawaz Sharif back to the country.

Replying to a question, Shibli Faraz said the government was not afraid of the opposition leaders as they would never tender resignation from the assemblies.

Answering yet another question, he said the present government obtained 22 billion dollars loans while it also repaid some 20 billion dollars.
