Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has announced that government will begin COVID vaccine registration for the citizens aged 40 plus from tomorrow (April 27).
“In today’s NCOC meeting decided to open up registration of 40 plus age citizens starting tomorrow,” Asad tweeted on Monday.
The minister added that walk-in vaccination of all registered citizens aged 50 and older would also be allowed. “If you are 40 years or older please register and encourage others to register,” he requested.
According to NCOC, people can register themselves by sending their CNIC number to 1166 via SMS.
Moreover, Pakistan has reported 4,825 new COVID cases and 70 more deaths in the past 24 hours.
