ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz on Wednesday said the accountability process would continue without any discrimination, as it was part of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government’s manifesto.
“The country’s economy is coming out of difficulties after successfully overcoming the coronavirus pandemic,” he said in an interview with a local news channel.
The information minister said the government would bring down inflation within next two weeks.

He said there was no shortage of wheat or other food items in any part of the country. He said the Sindh government did not release the wheat due to which people had to face the problem.
To a question, he said the government wanted to complete the China Pakistan Economic Corridor projects within stipulated time frame.
On Oct 10, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that the Pakistan Tehreek –e-Insaf (PTI) government would use all the state resources to lower the food prices.
In a tweet, PM Imran had said that the government was figuring out cause of the price hikes to know if there was really a shortage of supply or hoarding was being done by cartels.
