Govt plans to ‘house arrest’ Imran Khan ahead of PTI’s possible Long March

The PML-N led federal coalition government has prepared a plan to put Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan under house arrest at his Banigala residence ahead of party’s possible Long March against the alleged imported government, according to sources.
Police sources informed that PTI Chairman will be house arrested under the ‘Maintenance of Public Order Act.’
The PTI chairman has asked the party workers to be ready for a decisive long march to overthrow the current coalition government led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Imran Khan administered oath to party workers to make every sacrifice for the ‘Haqiqi Azadi March’.
According to sources, the government has also prepared a ‘Plan B’ to arrest the PTI chairman before he enters Islamabad.
According to Plan B, if PTI starts a long march from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Punjab and Imran Khan tries to enter the federal capital from the south, he will be arrested at Rawat T Cross.
If PTI tries to enter the capital from the north-west, police will be deployed to arrest them in Tarnol, sources said. The police team assigned to Imran Khan’s security will play an important role in the arrest of the former prime minister.
