As of July 15, the federal government plans to reopen universities across the country.

Higher Education Commission (HEC) was formally informed in this regard, according to details, while suggestions were also sought from university administrations.

Owing to the coronavirus outbreak, the Pakistani government closed all the schools, colleges, and universities in March 2020.

The decision was taken at a National Security Committee meeting in Islamabad, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said on Twitter.
