Govt issues passport to Ex-Finance Minister Ishaq Dar

The newly-elected coalition government has issued a passport to ex-finance minister Ishaq Dar.
Ishaq Dar, who travelled to UK about four years ago, has confirmed the development.
He said the Pakistani authorities have informed him about the issuance of a passport.
It has been almost four years since Ishaq Dar came to London from Pakistan. Various cases had been filed against him before he came to London.
He said that baseless cases had been filed against him for political revenge.
“I solemnly declare I never concealed my tax and never filed my tax return late,” he vowed.
“I will decide about my return to Pakistan after receiving my passport,” he added.
