Govt hasn’t decided to allow PTI’s Haqiqi Azadi March in Islamabad: Rana Sanaullah

Talking to a private news channel, federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said the government has not decided whether to let the long march enter in Islamabad or not.

Referring to news of backdoor talks with government, Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan did not convey the message to Shehbaz Sharif only through the mutual businessman, but PTI’s Fawad Chaudhry and Pervez Khattak had also approached in the past days.

“He [Imran] had sent a proposal that he will recommend three names, government will recommend three names to appoint the next Chief of the Army Staff with consensus,” Sanaullah revealed

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah confirmed that the government has extended the boundaries of the red zone in Islamabad.

“The PTI would be allowed to enter the city if they ensure their protest would take place according to the court’s decision,” he added.

He said that it has not been decided whether Long March will be allowed to enter Islamabad or not.

Commenting on the audio call between PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur and a man named Asad Khan on bringing ammunition and men for violence to the long march, Sanaullah said: “They should not be allowed to enter Islamabad based on the audio that surfaced yesterday.”

Earlier, in a press conference, federal interior minister Rana Sanaullah played an alleged audio call of PTI’s Ali Amin Gandapur, in which he can be heard asking unidentified man to provide weapons and men to create violence in Long march when it reached to Islamabad.
