Govt examining Sindh’s decision of imposing lockdown: Fawad

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says the government is examining the Sindh Government’s decision of imposing lockdown.
In a tweet, he said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan’s policy is clear that we will oppose to any step that severely affects economy of the common man.”
He said the National Command and Operation Center and Sindh government should jointly devise a strategy in which the common man’s livelihood was least affected.
The Sindh government has decided to impose new COVID-19 restrictions till August 8 across the province.
According to the lockdown restrictions, people will not be allowed to go out of home unnecessarily. All markets of the province will remain closed. Public and private offices will remain closed. Whereas, pharmacies will remain open and export industry will continue working as usual. People will have to carry their vaccination certificates along with them.
