Govt enhances loan limit under Naya Pakistan Housing program

ISLAMABAD: On the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the loan limit under Naya Pakistan Housing program has been enhanced 100 percent to 10 million rupees.
In a tweet, the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Javed said the mark up rate had been reduced to three percent and five percent.
The PTI leader said Prime Minister Imran Khan was personally monitoring the revolutionary program.
On Mar 18, PM Imran Khan had distributed residential flats and houses among the labourers under the Workers Welfare Fund.
More than 1,000 flats and 500 houses had been completed under the Naya Pakistan Housing Project.
The prime minister laid the foundation stone of another 1,500 flats on Mar 18. Under the scheme, houses will be distributed among widows and disabled, besides labourers on ownership rights to those who were earning less than Rs 0.5 million a year.
