ISLAMABAD: The federal government has allowed all restaurants across the country to reopen from August 10, following a drop in corona cases.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister Asad Umar said that from August 10, people will be allowed to sit inside and outside the restaurant under SOPs.
Asad Umar said that hotels in the tourist spot will also be opened from August 8, while the cinema theater and amusement park will also be opened from August 10.
He said that educational institutions across the country would be opened from September 15 while a review would be held on September 7 regarding the opening of educational institutions. In addition, sports activities without spectators will be allowed.
The Federal Minister said that the opening hours of the market have been restored to the pre-Corona situation. Double riding is also allowed, while indoor gyms and clubs are also allowed to open from August 10.
All road transport restrictions are being lifted while railways and airlines will be able to operate for free. However, the ban on giving up seats in railways and airlines will remain in place till the end of September.
Business centers and beauty parlors will also be open from August 10, while marriage halls will be open from September 15 and hotels can also hold wedding functions. In addition, the shrines were allowed to open.
