Govt aware of Inflation consequences on people: PM Imran
The government is aware of how the people are struggling with rising inflation in the country, said Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday while chairing meetings during his day-long visit to Lahore, according to media reports.
“The government is well aware of the suffering of common citizens due to inflation, therefore, it will ensure the provision of relief to the people as much as possible,” The Prime Minister stated.
The Prime Minister stated that his administration has reinstated price control committees to oversee any unjustified commodities pricing and hoarding increase.
We will take tough and uniform measures against individuals detected hoarding items to maintain a constant supply, said Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He claimed that the law is equal for everyone while also asserting that his government is working to further the country’s prosperity and advancement.
Earlier today, PM Imran Khan arrived in the provincial capital of Punjab on a one-day visit to have sessions and meetings with government officials.
According to the latest updates, the Prime Minister will preside over several sessions and will be informed by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on a variety of issues, including security, opposition sit-ins, and inflation.
The sessions will be held in CM House, where various official huddles will brief the premier on the province’s current position.
During his visit today, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar will also meet with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
