Govt approves Rs333 million funds to form ‘Special Anti-Riots’ teams to tackle PTI’s Long March

The PML-N led federal coalition government has approved the massive funds of Rs333 million to form ‘Special Anti-Riots’ teams to tackle the ‘Haqiqi Azadi March’ of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The Ministry of interior Affairs will receive a special grant of Rs333 million to establish a special antio-riots unit to control the protesters of Haqiqi Azadi march.

On the other hand, Islamabad police barred hotels and guest houses in the Islamabad from providing rooms to PTI’s long march participants once they reach the city, it emerged today.

The police have informed that, there will be checking of hotels and guesthouses on a daily basis, and strict action will be taken if a hotel room is given to a person participating in the long march.

The Islamabad administration has also refused to give NOC to PTI for the long march, and while issuing a letter wrote that NOC violations have been committed in the past, PTI should give a satisfactory explanation in this regard.

Ealier, PTI Chairman Imran Khan kicked off the most-hyped Haqiqi Azadi March against the alleged ‘imported government’ from Lahore’s Liberty Chowk saying, “The time has come to start the journey for ‘haqiqi azadi’ (real freedom).
