Government decides to buy Dilip Kumar’s house, Kapoor family’s mansion

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to buy the house of legendary actress Yousuf Khan alias Dilip Kumar from the Kapoor family.

Both the historic houses are in a dilapidated condition. The fund for the purchase of the houses will be paid by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Archaeological Department and money has been allocated for the purchase of the mansions.

The Archaeological Department has sent a letter to the Deputy Commissioner, Peshawar, instructing them to determine the value of both the houses by enforcing Section Four.

In this regard, Director Archeology Dr. Abdul Samad said that both the historic houses are in a very dilapidated condition, they will be purchased and restored to their original condition.
