Goswami claims presence of Pakistan Army on Kabul hotel’s floor that doesn’t exist

Being prone to controversies and famous for running propaganda in the favor of BJP-led government, Indian TV anchor Arnab Goswami was caught lying while hosting a talk show after he claimed that the officers of Pakistan Armed Forces and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were staying at the fifth floor Kabul’s Serena hotel, that has never existed.
Responding to Goswami false claims, PTI spokesperson from Pakistan, Abdul Samad Yaqoob said that the luxury Serena Hotel in Kabul had only two floors instead of five or more.

Blatantly referring to his so-called “intelligence sources”, the Indian journalist said he would also tell the room number and the food that the members of Pakistani military had ordered from the aforementioned hotel.
However, despite being debunked and exposed, the firebrand anchor went on defending his claims.

Hosted by Goswami, the Republic World TV show ‘The Debate’ had invited analyst and representatives from Pakistan and India last week, to discuss the developing situation in Afghanistan.
India and Iran have alleged that Pakistan provided support to the Afghan Taliban who were fighting against the opposing groups in Panjshir Valley.
