Former Pakistan’s cricket team captain, Wasim Akram shared a heartwarming post for his late first wife Huma Mufti Akram, on her 10th death anniversary.

Akram posted a picture of his two sons from wife Huma, with a caption,

“You will never be forgotten, you gave me the biggest gifts of all and they continue to grow and carry on your spirit. Gone but never forgotten, you are always in our hearts. Huma Mufti Akram.”

Wasim and Huma got married on October 12, 1993 and have two sons, Tahmur and Akbar. She later died in 2009, due to failure of organ at Apollo Hospital in Chennai, India.

In 2013, the legendary cricketer then married Australian Shaniera Thompson, with whom he now has one daughter.
