Gomal University imposes fine on two students for listening to music

The Gomal University of Dera Ismail Khan on Friday has fined two students Rs 5000 for listening to music in the department of Computing and Information Technology.

According to the notification, two students, Qazi Muhammad Hamza Ali and Muhammad Mahaad Salimeen was found listening to music. For this reason, the management of varsity fined them with Rs 5000.

The Director of Information Technology Department said that the students were warned several times, but they did not stop and violated the decorum of the department,

He further stated that “ listening music is a right of a student, but pulling down the university’s discipline will not be accepted at any cost.”
