Gold price slumps by Rs2,250 per tola

 Gold price slumps by Rs2,250 per tola

KARACHI: The price of gold per ounce in the global market fell by $30 while the price of gold per tola in the local Sarafa market fell by Rs 2,250 on Saturday.

The price of gold per ounce in the world market has reached to $1,704 after the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market decreased by $30.

On the other hand, in the local Sarafa market of Pakistan, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 2,250 and the price per 10 grams by Rs 1,928.

As a result of reduction in prices, the price of gold per tola in the Sarafa markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta has come down to Rs. 104,450, whereas the price of 10 grams of gold has come down to Rs 89,550.

Similarly, the price of silver per tola has reached to Rs 1,340 by the reduction of Rs30 and the price of 10 grams of silver has been reduced by Rs 25.72 and has come down to  Rs1,148.83.
