Global death toll from coronavirus rises to 154,145

NEW YORK: The worldwide death toll from coronavirus pandemic has risen to 154,145 while over 2,248,891 declared cases have been registered.
According to reports, at least 571,573 coronavirus patients have recovered so far.
In the United States, death toll from the pandemic now stands at 37,154 with 709,735 infections from the virus.

Italy is the second worst-hit country with 22,745 deaths and 172,734 infections.
The total number of coronavirus infection cases in the country has climbed to 7,481 and death toll to 143 on Saturday morning.
The infection cases include 3,391 in Punjab, 2,217 in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 1,077, Balochistan 335, Islamabad Capital Territory 163, Gilgit-Baltistan 250, and Azad Kashmir 48 cases.
So far 1,832 patients of Coronavirus have been recovered, while breakup of 143 deaths is as follows: Sindh 47, Punjab 37, KP 50, ICT 01, Balochistan 05 and GB 03. 41 others are in a critical condition.
