 Global coronavirus death toll surges past 81,000

The number of people infected from Coronavirus across the world has surpassed 14,26,000 while moret than 81,000 others died so far.

According to John Hopkins University of the United States, the death toll in the United States has crossed 11,000 while number of infected people has jumped to 3,96,000.

In Spain, the death toll has risen to 14,000 whereas over one hundred and forty one thousand have been infected with the virus.

In Italy, death toll reached to over 17,000 while over 3800 people lost their lives in Iran due to this pandemic.

Fifty-eight people have died of coronavirus since its outbreak in Pakistan, after four fresh deaths took place in last 24 hours.

The deaths took place as following: 18 in Sindh, 16 in Punjab, 18 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two in Balochistan, one in Islamabad and three in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country have soared to 4,072. These include 2,030 cases in Punjab, 986 in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 527, Balochistan 206, Gilgit-Baltistan 212, Islamabad Capital Territory 92 and Azad Kashmir 19.
