Global coronavirus cases climb to 1.6 million, deaths over 95,000

The number of people infected from Coronavirus across the world has reached 1.6 million while over 95,000 other died so far.
According to John Hopkins University of the United States, the death toll in the United States has crossed 15,500 while number of infected people has jumped to 465,000.
In Spain, the death toll has risen to 15,400 whereas, over one hundred and fifty three thousand others have been infected with the virus.

In Italy, death toll reached to over 18,200 while over forty one hundred people lost their lives in Iran due to this pandemic.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has called for unity and a halt to politicization of the global health crisis, specifically urging China and the United States to show honest leadership.
WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he expected US funding to continue with traditional bipartisan support.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump told the daily White House briefing on the coronavirus that Beijing’s payment was a small fraction of Washington’s WHO contribution, and that was “not fair at all.”
