BERLIN: In Germany, Finance Minister of Hesse State, Thomas Schaefer, has committed suicide after becoming deeply worried over how to cope with the economic fallout from the Coronavirus.
He was 54 and found dead near a railway track. He is survived by a wife and two children.
The Wiesbaden prosecution’s office said he ostensibly committed suicide.
