Gen (Retd) Bajwa asked us to back PTI at time of no-trust motion: Moonis Elahi

PML-Q leader and former federal minister Moonis Elahi claimed that former chief of army staff General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa had advised them to support PTI when the no-trust motion was moved against former prime minister Imran Khan.
Talking to private news channel, Moonis Elahi openly expressed his disagreement over criticism on former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa by his coalition party PTI.
Moonis Elahi stressed that the maligning campaign against General Bajwa was wrong as the former COAS supported PTI during the no-confidence motion.
“Even he advised us to support PTI in no-confidence motion,” Elahi added.
He further questioned that if General Bajwa was part of the no-confidence motion then why would he ask PML-Q to support PTI.
“When he was giving you all-out support, he was right,” the PML-Q leader said, wondering if Bajwa had now become a traitor to them.
Moonis said that there was no doubt that the former COAS fully supported the PTI, but when he withdrew his support, he had become a bad person.
Referring to the part of judiciary, Elahi said that the court has established its neutrality, adding that, the establishment has no role in the affairs of the Punjab government.
