FWICE warns Diljit Dosanjh against performing in concert organised by Pakistani

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has warned Indian Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh against performing in his upcoming concert in the US on September 21 just because it’s been promoted and organised by a Pakistani.

The federation also wrote a letter to the Ministry of External Affairs to cancel Diljit and his troupe’s visa in case the artistes deny to accept its request.

In the letter, the federation mentioned how artistes from India continue to perform at events organised by Pakistani nationals even after a total ban on any kind of relationship between the two countries. They highlighted Saif Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal names alleging that they have also performed at events organized by the Pakistani promoter Rehan Siddiqui.

The FWICE has already banned singer Mika Singh from any performance, recording, playback singing and acting in India ‘irrevocably forever’ after his visit to Pakistan last month.
