From Bakhtawar to Habs: Pakistani dramas adopting interesting storylines
For the past couple of years, the storylines of Pakistani dramas were pretty much basic. The dramas usually revolved around, divorce, second marriage, extramarital affairs, oppressed women etc but now the Pakistani drama industry is reviving its storylines and the audience is loving this new trend.
The Drama serial Habs on ARY digital Starring Ushna Shah and Feroze Khan is the talk of the town right now. The theme of the drama is a man ended up marrying a strange woman only to gain access to his inheritance. Whereas a woman wants to support her family so she has to take this decision.
Feroze Khan is playing the role of Basit a businessman who doesn’t trust women and ended up getting married to Ushna Shah (Ayesha) to gain access to his inheritance. Whereas Ayesha is the only breadwinner for her family, and wanted to pursue her dreams but ended up marrying her boss Basit. The viewers are hooked from the first episode as each episode is bringing a new twist to the drama. Netizens are also loving the chemistry between the couple.

Whereas Drama serial Bakhtawar on Hum netwrok is a story of a young headstrong girl trying to escape he troubled home, difficulties and pain and create a better tomorrow for herself. Versatile actress Yumna Zaidi is playing a dual role in the drama which is already getting a lot of appreciation from her fans.
It has been seen quite rare that the role of the protagonist is played by a woman in Pakistani dramas. Yumna’s impeccable acting skills are doing justice to the character of Bakhtawar.
