PESHAWAR: Police on Thursday arrested a gang of four suspects involved in kidnapping girls to force them for beggary.

Three of the suspects including Javed and two women belong to Afghanistan. Police said the suspects were involved in human trafficking as well in exchange of millions of rupees. They said the girls were strictly supervised in order to foil their bid to flee.

The security force has also recovered one girl from their possession, who was abducted 11 months ago. They used to drug the girl.

SP City Waqar Azeem said that when the girl would bring less money she was subjected to torture. A case has been registered against the suspect and investigation has been launched. The police officer said that all the beggar children would be inspected after arrest of the entire network.
