Four soldiers martyred in South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Four soldiers were martyred during exchange of fire with terrorists at a security post in South Waziristan, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Thursday night.

According to the media wing of armed forces, the terrorists attacked the security forces post in Makeen, South Waziristan, and opened fire through which four soldiers were martyred.

Moreover, the martyred soldiers have been identified as Lance Naik Imran Ali, and Sepoys Atif Jahangir, Anees ur Rehman and Aziz.

Earlier, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in Nargosa area of South Waziristan district and killed two terrorists, Usman Ali and Waheed Lashtai.
