Four members of a family killed in Lahore roof collapse incident

LAHORE: At least four people, including a seven-year-old kid, of a family were killed and three others wounded when a roof of the house caved in in Harbanspura area of Lahore on Thursday.

Rescues sources told that during heavy rains a newly-constructed wall of a neighbouring building fell onto the house’s roof which caused the damage, in Ibrahim Colony.

The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Azam, Muhammed Sabir, Muhammed Aslam and Muhammed Kamran. The wounded and dead were taken to hospital for medical aid and medico-legal formalities respectively.

It took three hours to the rescue team to recover the bodies from under the rubble.
