Four FC personnel martyred in Balochistan

RAWALPINDI: Four personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) were martyred in a terrorist attack in Balochistan on Monday.
The media wing of armed forces, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the terrorists targeted Frontier Corps troops, employed for security of Marget Mines on Marget-Quetta road, using improvised explosive device (IED).
As a result of the IED attack, four brave soldiers including a Junior Commissioned Officer of FC Balochistan embraced shahadat (martyrdom). The martyrs include Subedar Sardar All Khan, resident of Village Wanda Lungar Kel, District Lakki Marwat, Sepoy Musaddaf Hussain, resident of Chak 272 EB, District Vehari, Sepoy Muhammad Anwar, resident of Wanda Talgi, District DI Khan and Sepoy Awais Khan, resident of Village Bandal, District Neelum.
A large scale area sanitization operation by FC Balochistan is underway to hunt the terrorists.
“Such cowardly acts by inimical elements cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan. Security forces are determined to neutralize their naferious designs even at the cost of blood and lives,” read the statement issued by the ISPR.
