PESHAWAR: The district administration on Wednesday arrested four people for selling subsidized wheat flour in black in Peshawar.
Spokesperson of the assistant commissioner said the suspects were arrested in a raid carried out on Dilazak road. The operation was supervised by Assistant Commissioner (City) Sarah Rehman.
The spokesperson said the suspects bought the subsidized flour and sold it at higher prices on their shops by changing the packaging to Punjab Aata’s label. They would supply the wheat flour to their shops after loading the flour sacks on to a rickshaw.
