Fakiha Khan, the founder of a Facebook based group, Two Rings Official shares her journey of building a genuine matrimonial platform.
While conversing about the actual motive behind creating such platform, Fakiha revealed that it all started for fun but later she grasped that it is being helpful for people, this led her to create a group on Facebook, also because it became difficult for her to handle the work all by herself due to her marriage.
Initially the group consisted 1,000 members for six months but the publicity provoked people to contact Fakiha to let them be a part of the group.
Fakiha aims to provide a platform where people can come across a right person as she is against the current rishta culture.
According to Fakiha, the current system of making people married results in no marriage at all or leads to compromises which may later end up producing divorces.
The group also tends to cater the stigma of socially awkward question generated among families. People feel hesitant to post their own profiles due to the mindset of our society, Fakiha further added.
However, the group has zero tolerance policy against anyone found posting judgemental comments. They are right away informed about their blockage from the group. Around 2000 people have been blocked for this reason.
Fakiha wants to condemn the attributes concerned with the marriage like dowry and generalize the idea of a wedding with less expenditures.
On answering the question where Fakiha would see the group in five years, she was confident about the future progress, as the group has developed within no time. She believes that it would evolve in a positive way.
