 ‘Forthcoming budget’ will be the budget of youth: Ahsan Iqbal

Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that next budget will be the budget for our youth, youth training plans will be brought under next budget.

Talking to media on his arrival in London, Ahsan Iqbal said that the former government ignored CPEC, but now CPEC will have a review meeting in every 15 days. The problems of the companies will be solved on priority basis and security in CPEC projects will be further improved.

Ahsan Iqbal said that the previous government made huge cuts in the development budget and was reduced to 500 billion, the next budget will be the budget of the youth.

“In the next budget we would bring in youth training schemes, provide employment, sports and leisure opportunities to the youth and pay special attention to the education of the youth,” Ahsan added.

He also said that in the next budget we will increase the funds for higher education. It is also a priority to complete the projects nearing completion.

The Federal Minister for Planning said that the forthcoming budget would accelerate the pace of development in Balochistan.

Notably, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has also reached London along with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif where he will discuss important issues with party supremo Nawaz Sharif today.
