Former MQM activist Ajmal Pahari on the stage of PSP Party Coordination Campaign

Former MQM activist Shahnawaz Khan Alias Ajmal Pahari has come to the fore for the first time since his release from jail.
Ajmal Pahari can be seen in Pak Sarzamin Party (PSP) Coordination Campaign in Azizabad area of Karachi. Ajmal Pahari was also present on the stage after Mustafa Kamal’s speech in the liaison campaign.
Former sector in-charge of MQM, Umair Siddiqui was also present on the stage. Ajmal Pahari was released from Sukkur Jail two months ago. He was in jail on charges of target killing.
Ajmal Pahari, who was wanted by the police during the 1992 operation in Karachi, released on February 5 from Sukkur Central Jail after being acquitted in all cases and granted bail in four cases.
During Musharraf’s rule, Ajmal Pahari was released on bail in all 50 cases, but in 2010 Rangers arrested him again on charges of killing 15 people.
Ajmal Pahari belongs to Orangi Town Sector 7 area of Karachi. He started his political activities from the platform of MQM in his area in the early 80s.
