Former Chief Minister of Sindh Arbab Ghulam Rahim has joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
The announcement was made by Ghulam Rahim after meeting Prime Minister, Imran Khan.
According to Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Imran Khan has tasked him with organising the party in Sindh.
He stated that good news from Sindh will be hard very soon.
In May 2013, the former chief minister merged his party, the People’s Muslim League (PML) with the PML-N after meeting former chief minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore.
Ghulam is a Pakistani politician who served as the Chief Minister of the Government of Sindh from 2004 till 2007.
He won elections as a Member of National Assembly (MNA) four times, and as Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from his constituency in Tharparkar District several times.
Belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League (Q). Arbab was elected to the Sindh Provincial Assembly during the 2002 general elections from PS-60 constituency defeating Engineer Gianchand Meghwar, and was initially inducted as a provincial minister. Subsequently, he was elected as the Chief Minister of Sindh in 2004.
