FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi opposed Governor Rule in Sindh
Multan: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has opposed the proposal of Governor Rule in Sindh.
Talking to media in Multan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that what is happening in Sindh House is against the spirit of Charter of Democracy.
He said that he was not in favor of Governor Rule proposal in Sindh. A meeting of the political committee chaired by the Prime Minister would be held today in which he would present his point of view in the light of past experiences.
Shah Mehmood said that creating uncertainty in these circumstances is not in the interest of democracy or economy, therefore those who create uncertainty in the lust for power should reconsider their decision, and every member is elected by the people.
“You are bound to make your decisions according to your conscience but before making a decision you have to keep in mind the expectations that people of the constituency have attached to you.” He added.
He further said that today the politics of 90’s is being repeated, against the same style of politics the Charter of Democracy was brought in which some principles were laid down.
