FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi leaves for China on 3-day visit today
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a statement that he is expected to meet the Foreign Ministers of many countries including Russia and Iran today.
He said that the issues of the region, peace and stability, economic security, and Afghanistan would also be discussed in the meetings.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan wants good relations with all countries while all countries have good relations with us.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi added that everyone witness the meeting over Afghanistan issue on September 19, 2021 while the recent OIC meeting was also witness by the world that how many countries participated.
He further added that Saudi Arabia would support the alliance if we could play a role in Yemen. However, he disclosed that a message had come from a major country not to visit Russia. However, we explained that the nature of the visit to Russia is bilateral relations.
Besides, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that it is the responsibility of the people to bring or remove someone to power. In a democracy, it is the people who decide their leaders.
“Money was being used indiscriminately for No-Confidence motion which was not good for our future and democracy.” FM said.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi added that when our government came, there was an effort to make foreign policy dignified and independent but more attention was paid to geo-economics with the countries of the region.
