Asim Raza, chairman of the Pakistan Flour Mills Association, says, “The government’s poor policies will lead to a severe flour crisis next month.”

Addressing the annual general meeting of the Flour Mills Association in Lahore, Asim Raza said that at present there was a shortage of 3 million tonnes of wheat in the country and the cause of the wheat crisis was the supply of wheat to feed mills.

He said that wheat was not given to Balochistan. Chairman Flour Mills Association said that “Government should import the same amount of wheat, after December the supply of wheat will be the responsibility of the government.”
