Five people were wounded after a house’s roof collapsed in Vehari on Monday.

A rescue team was immediately called and the injured people pulled out from the debris of the collapse. They said that the incident took place in a village in the urban areas of the city.

“The roof of the house had weakened because of the recent rainfall in the area,” a rescue officer said.

The wounded were moved to a hospital at DHQ, where they were declared out of risk.
