PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Wednesday inaugurated the first of its kind mobile library in Peshawar.
According to details, the mobile library established in two vehicles will be parked at the premises of the University of Peshawar.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan termed it a step towards promoting the trend of reading among students.
Students would be able to get books at 30 percent discount from the mobile libraries.
The project of the libraries on wheels was completed at the cost of Rs12 million under management of the Youth Affairs department of KP. The project would be expanded to other colleges and universities as well.
