First coronavirus case reported in Quetta
QUETTA: The first case of coronavirus in town was confirmed by Fatima Jinnah Hospital’s Medical Superintendent (MS) on Tuesday.
It was said that a 12-year-old boy has the virus. The boy had travelled with his parents to Taftan, according to the MS.
The parents were screened but reported negative for the virus.
The nationwide tally of infected cases rose to 19 along with the new case in Quetta.
Karachi currently has the highest number of cases, totaling 15. Gilgit-Baltistan has reported two and Hyderabad has one infected case.
