Firing at Imran Khan’s container during the Long March; Imran Khan injured in the incident
Firing incident occurred near PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s container in party’s Haqiqi Azadi March at Allahwala Chowk area of Gujranwala. Reportedly Imran Khan, Faisal Javed Khan, Imran Ismail and two others injured in the incident.
According to the police, firing incident occurred at the reception camp of PTI at Allahwala Chowk in Gujranwala, causing panic and a stampede in the area.
After the incident, the security personnel immediately reached to Imran Khan and took him under the fence and put a bullet-proof jacket on him.

A suspect who opened fire on Imran Khan’s container immediately arrested by the security.
PTI Secretary General Asad Umar confirmed that, Imran Khan sustained bullet injuries on his right leg and shifted to Lahore for medical assistance.
Talking to a private news channel, PTI leader Asad Umar said that PTI leader Ahmed Chatha was seriously injured in the incident.
A total of 7 people have been injured in the firing.
“Pray for us, one of our people has expired, the rest are seriously injured,” said Faisal Javed in a video message from the hospital
