Fire in North Karachi Towel Factory has been extinguished

Karachi: Fire in the North Karachi Towel Factory has been extinguished. Cooling process is underway.
Efforts were being made to extinguish the fire on the third floor with the help of 8 fire tenders and snorkels in the affected factory after which fire was brought under control.
Due to the cramped space in the factory, fire was difficult to control.
Chief Fire Officer Mubeen Ahmed said that the fire broke out again on the third floor of the factory which was controlled by 8 fire brigade vehicles and a snorkel while the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
The damage will be estimated after the cooling process is completed, police officials said.
Officials from the fire brigade said there was no room for further spread of the fire.
A fire broke out in a towel factory in North Karachi which the fire brigade failed to put out.
In this regard, the President of North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NACATI) Faisal Moeez had said that due to incompetence of fire brigade the fire could not be extinguished completely and snorkel was also sent late.
