Efforts were being made to extinguish the fire on the third floor with the help of 8 fire tenders and snorkels in the affected factory after which fire was brought under control.

Due to the cramped space in the factory, fire was difficult to control.

Chief Fire Officer Mubeen Ahmed said that the fire broke out again on the third floor of the factory which was controlled by 8 fire brigade vehicles and a snorkel while the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.

The damage will be estimated after the cooling process is completed, police officials said.
