FIA arrested Lahore men for hacking WhatsApp accounts

LAHORE: A group of men were arrested on Friday (today), over the charges of deceiving people and looting their money.

According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the suspects were accused of asking people to send them the one time password on WhatsApp and then used to hack their accounts. They had been defrauding people for past four years.

100 SIM cards, 20 mobile phones, and two laptops have been recovered from them.

Moreover, the suspects have also confessed about committing many crimes.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) revealed that they had received around 200 complaints regarding hacking of WhatsApp accounts.
